The first annual Comox Valley Conservation Calendar is at the printers. This is an initiative of the Comox Valley Conservation Strategy – Community Partners with all of the proceeds of the calendar to be directed towards paying for a coordinator to help with some of the organization/ office work for the various streamkeeper groups that belong to it. The calendar will be fairly large (8.5×11) with plenty of space for all the appointments we all seem to accumulate. This fundraising project will be very beneficial to all of the groups so if you care about environmental issues, think about us when you pick up your Christmas gifts or look for a calendar for the new year. We don’t know which stores will be carrying it yet but they will definitely be available through the Conservation Centre on Rosewall or your local streamkeeper group.
