Pinks Return to Creek

Pink Salmon

Pink Salmon

Recent fall rains have coaxed a good run of Pink salmon to return to Morrison Creek. 2003 is forecast to be a good run for this species, which spends 2 years at sea before returning to their native stream to spawn. They may be seen as far upstream as Lake Trail Road, where the creek passes under the new Inland Island Highway bridge, some 5 km upstream from the confluence with the Puntledge River (see Maps section) Watershed Overview
