There are herons in the watershed all year and there is an exciting possibility that they are nesting as it is possible to see juveniles occasionally in the Fall.  The way to tell the adults from the juveniles is that the adults have a white streak on top of their head.  This is another blue-listed species that lives comfortably in the watershed.
